I went to Advance Auto and got a scan tool…it was the air box temp sensor. I cleared it and all is good now. Note to self..Don’t start...

First thing I would try is battery disconnect/ connect. Make sure to have a window down or door open when you do it.

Blue good for 300 F, reds good for 500 F. So not a problem. I’ve recently started using the orange stuff for these type of applications.

The worst offending Viper is the 2004 with its reduced size damper retaining bolt. Duramax diesels are infamous for this problem also.
