FOUND IT-CAUSE FOR OVERHEAT-BROKEN WATER PUMP SHAFT
Had same problem with my 2000. Happened after a weekend of racing at Willow Srings. Impeller was loose on shaft. If anyone else has an overheating problem the easy water pump test is to operate the windshield defroster at full hot then increase engine RPM to approx. 2500 and hold. If the air...- 747Capt

Vegas Bound!
Just got back from Vegas. Went to many casinos both on and off the strip. Used valet at all of them, no problems. At the hotels on the strip tipped 20 bucks and asked to have the Viper parked up front. They even moved a Corvette to make room. The host at MGM told me that the valet jobs are so...- 747Capt

What are my option with a flat tire?
I picked up a small screw in the right rear. Took it to local Firestone dealer they installed a patch/plug combination. Then ran hard at Willow Springs, 140+, no problems. Would not do it again. Why take the risk. Tires are cheap.- 747Capt

Advice on door wiring harness.
Has anybody replaced the driver door wiring harness? How big a job is it and is the harness avalible from Dodge? First mirror, then outside door release, inside door release, all quit in that order. Now door speakers intermittent. apparently not an uncommon problem on 2000 RT/10. Would like to...- 747Capt
