attention vipers in las Vegas
When I was stationed there I avoided the strip like the plague because of all the traffic. There are all sorts of cool cars in Vegas, so try finding a car show or other car club that's active.- 96GTS

Fair Price on a 2008
KBB.com (Kelly Blue Book) is a good place to start, but it varies depending on the maintenance history. One good way to check is look at the color of the brake fluid. R and J Distributors? re: custom viper emblems
I bought some door panels that he said were off a 3,600 mile Viper. What I got was busted and rusted garbage! I sent them back for a refund, and then got charged $150.00 restocking fee. It took 6 weeks to finally get a refund, but that was only after constanly calling him 2 and 3 times a week.- 96GTS

Feeling Guilty
This isn't car related, but I need to get this off my chest. Friday, I had to have my Jack Russell terrier put down due to heart failure. I almost made a mistake...and what a dealer experience!

Gen 2 to Gen 4 Engine Modification
I did get a new one, and I believe it's the same as the one used on the 5.7 Hemi. It was around $20, but they do make some nice aftermarket pieces that are much better quality.- 96GTS

Gen 2 to Gen 4 Engine Modification
While you have to motor out, it might be a good idea to change out that cheap plastic tension idler pulley. Mine started making noise and then the bearings got hot and melted the plastic. Everything that ran off the serpentine belt stopped working (power steering and alternator).- 96GTS
