I have been using the Carbotech pads for a while now and and VERY happy with the stopping power and heat resistance...BUT..the amount of noise and BRAKE DUST is UNBELIEVABLE......AMAZING amount of dust. The noise doesnt bother me ...but they sure are dusty!!! ..dont think that the OP will be...
Pulled my Viper out over the weekend to get ready for a car show and a ride with the boys. Was gonna check out the clicking noise from the right rear that I noticed thd last time I drove it a couple of weeks ago.
....Yikes...I noticed the right rear tire is completely flat.

I installed Tom's 40mm rear calipers( about $900 ?) on my 1997 GTS and am very happy...no more flat-spotting front tires. I also installed Carbotech pads ( about $400 ?) and Castrol SRF fluid ( $70 )

^ this....and You may eventually need to do a test for " parasitic draw" using a 2 amp or 10 amp meter. Harbor Freight sells a cheap but nice one for $3.95...or free if you look at the ad in the back of car magazines.
Also, most times the draw is caused by a non-factory accessory which was added...
This is funny...they have always said that about a Porsche for 50 years....engine hangs way off the back...only a very few experts can drive a P car....the rear engined design will have you going backwards into the tullies if you try to approach anything near the limit on a curve....ill handling...
Another reminder...please be sure to wear safety googles when working on A/C system....and when removing hoses or fittings...be sure to empty pressure first
