Rear differential replacement issues!!
Could be gear whine because pinion depth is off. Did you check the pattern? Did they put new bearings in? Pinion preload could be off as well. It takes a lot of skill and attention to detail to set up a rear end properly. I’d find another shop- Dan-o

Rod length selection for Roe Diamond 802RR pistons
Hi , just picked up some forged Roe Diamond pistons with 1.222 compression height. Has any one run these in an 05-06 block? I’m curious as to which of 6.221 or 6.241 rod lengths are best. By my calcs, assuming stock 3.96 stroke and 9.48 block deck, 6.221’s give -.005 in the hole and 6.241’s...- Dan-o

Great info, thanks! So did either of you guys figure out if the 6925/6916 adapters work on the ZB Chassis? Or do you have to use the 899x adapters? Are they drilled for the inclinometers? I don’t see inclinometer mounting holes in the ones is see on fleabay. Any chance I can get a copy of that...- Dan-o
