I agree. The biggest thing I see it missing is unlock PCM. To attract new owners they are going I want to know they can mod or upgrade it.
Also paddles, they need to be an option. Everyone else has them....
And a handful of other small things. But those are the main 2 if they want to move it...
Im thinking the same thing why sales are not what they should be. As much as i love having a manual gearbox i think by SRT not offering a option of manual or paddle it is hurting them. If they want to attract new non previous viper owners they will have to go with a paddle shift option. I do...
this is true. im eyeing a gen 5, a few of them actually and just waiting for the dealers to start giving them away.... seeing a lot of dealers giving out 10-15k discounts on 13's.
Glad to see some people know what's up.
Don't see why some people have issues with others having fun in a viper... Not like I burned the tires up so bad that they needed to be replaced. I even looked at the tires after the burn out. Still look new...
Anyways....
No i have not purchased a gen 5...
car was rented from a company.... not a person.... i would never drive someones personal car like this. which is why i decided to rent one.
the reason i rented it is so i can actually drive it. and see what the car is all about.

i had to choose between selling my CE viper #16 which i had just purchased a few months prior or sell my first viper which was a 96' B/W GTS Supercharged. i went with selling the GTS becuase there is something about my CE that i...
This past saturday my dad, mom, and myself were invited to come along with the SDPD to deliver the gifts to the kids. It was really really awesome to watch and see first hand the kids faces light up when the received their gifts! It made me really happy to be part of it!
Here are some pics...
i recently talked with a guy who owns a modena and he said the first year he owned it he has already put 15k into it just in maintenance.... And will soon need a transmission rebuild or something like that, can't remember exactly but he said it wasn't going to be cheap. I personally say go with...
can't agree more with a few of the above posters. I never leave my car unattended. thats the only way to do it if you want to keep you car safe from A-holes!
Ive got almost a horror story about my viper. I went into a jack in the box to eat because i don't eat or drink in my car. when i came...
I really don't see why u don't just put a cat-back on like most of us do. The viper is ridiculously quiet stock! I have a corsa car-back on mine and that is how they should sound stock. IMO...
Plus If I remember right u have a CE viper...? So the white will fade and turn yellow if u don't...
