    Looks like I'm a day early...I'll be out there but on Friday 10/22. Agreed, Thunderhill is a great track for beginners and skilled drivers alike. I'll try to stretch it out another day and come out on Saturday as well. Brian - PM'in you on a different subject.

    What about wheel / tire size? I should have clarified that in my original post - I am very open to using a different size wheel/tire combo. I understand there is a small mod required to the e-brake to run 18" rear wheels which is no problem at all.

    I have a Gen 3 and have been using Hoosier A6/R6 (autocross/track) tires on OEM 6-spoke wheels (275/35/18 and 345/30/19) which are great, but ridiculously expensive. Nearly $1400 a set with mounting and they don't last long. Are there other less expensive options? What about "used" tires...

    Sad. I put 2,707 miles on my '06 coupe in one road trip two weeks ago including a track day at Firebird Raceway near Scottsdale. Most fun I've had behind the wheel in as long as I can remember.

    I just assumed they needed to be changed. The rotors are grooved and have a slight "lip" on the edge of the rotors. When I took the wheels off, I noticed the amount of pad left and figured I'd throw it to the people on the board.

    Valentine One

    Nah, mine have been broken on my '06 for a year now. Smoke literally came out of the switch. Power mirrors are overrated. So are brakes.
