Thank you, I wrote that. I'm glad it was of assistance. It's unfortunate that VCA decided to make this information "members only". Knowledge isn't a member thing, it's a Viper Owner thing. I believe that is wrong.
And congrats on the headers, you will love them.

Actually lost HP when I tried the x-metal. BBK didn't do a lot in the HP dept, maybe 3hp but it was very smooth and idled properly. Put a fastman on my SRT10 truck and got the same results as a BBK.
Guaranteed a scam. I bet the 1st check bounces as well and you've lost the 3k. always, always get cash. I've seen plenty of these with every car I've sold on the internet. Fake bank drafts are a big issue. Make sure you write a bill of sale that specifies that any payment must CLEAR prior...
Assuming your car is not a GenIV you need only 2 simms, the ones that would go behind the cats, one on each side. You NEED the front O2's to run the engine.
If your car is a GenIV the only choice you have at this time is the MOPAR PCM.
Non-foulers do not work 100% of the time, simms do. In...
I hope you filed a police report regardless of whether or not the PD saw the twerp. I would have insisted on that. The cops don't see accidents [most times] but they file reports, know what I mean? I think this **** just didn't want to do the paper work -- which is typical. Get a complaint...
You guys are missing a couple big points here. (1) day to different day same dyno the runs may differ +- 10hp easy even if you trailer your car both times. Maybe even more. (2) the mopar perf ecu fixes a number of issues like CELs with headers and stuff. This one regardless of the gains...
You know that's interesting that you bring that up, I was thinking the same thing. One thing that kind of shocked me was Chad Kanuas [ sp? Jimmy Johnson's crew chief ] was saying on NASCAR Performance last weekend that they felt the mileage would not be much different and then the conversation...
Yep cup cars are running e-85 next year with the fuel injection and in the fuel injection tests this year too. About the same as MS109 only about 1/2 the cost. Cup car engines run around 14:1 compression ratios.
Ya I saw the title. And if you believe everything you read or a racer tells you then .. well ... you're deluded. Watch pass-time sometime and you'll hear more BS than you ever believed possible. In this respect all racers are pretty much the same.
Looks like the intake, a BBK TB, headers, some serious rear suspension work, notice the plexi-glass cover over the front. They obviously put this thing on a serious diet and it's got some low gears. Great times, pretty consistent 11.80's with a couple bad runs low 12's. The guy for the most...
