I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I'm looking at Vipers knowing that it will be 3-5 years before I get into one. Right now I own a 2003 Cobra that is paid off. I could sell the Cobra, put $7-10k on top of that money and get into a Gen 1 right now (maybe a Gen 2 if I found a good deal)...
I think they look ok - the color is just a little too "mustard" for me. This color would look better I think:

Have you posted this on AutoTrader or anything like that? Part of the problem could be that people who are looking for used Vipers can afford to pay more for a lower mileage/newer car.. Also, people who could potentially afford this car probably don't think they could afford a Viper so aren't...
