    removing old timing cover gasket...

I just replaced mine a few weeks ago, used a green scotchbrite pad with a razor blade. If you have a large buildup of material then i could maybe justify using a nice putty knife but to beat the dead horse the safe route is the light abrasion/razor blade route. It took me a couple days, had to...

Back up Lights won't work along with hazard lights

I too have no reverse lights or parking lights on my 97 gts, wonder if they share the same circuit. would like to see a schematic if one is out there. I have checked the fuses and bulbs too many times to count and they are good

Is my car going to explode?

I think that might be what happened, I might not have had all four of the clips inside the fitting engaged before. When I "modified" the filter all i did was use a pick tool to bend out the clips a little more to hopefully get a tighter connection. I just wanted to make sure no one else had seen...

Is my car going to explode?

the reason I lean towards the filter for being suspect is because the line going into the filter on the top side is just a straight pipe with a collar. The quick disconnect assembly is on the filter itself on that end.

Is my car going to explode?

About two months ago I ordered a fuel filter from the local Dodge dealer and replaced it on my 97 GTS. Let me say what a wonderful way to get acquainted with the underside of my snake, and the taste of gas:crazy2: It wasnt fun but I finished and all was well. Fast foward to this past saturday...

    GTS Stereo Upgrade

The previous owner of my viper did run into that problem. I was not able to resolve it and ended up selling the source unit. Most flip out monitors are simply too large to install without modification to the car, something i am not willing to do.

New Paint (Perl white) New Wheels (Pics)

That is my dream viper, I love the red on mine now but I feel it draws the wrong kind of attention. The white seems cleaner and I definietly like that there are not that many of them. Very nicely done, I would also like to see some high res pics out in the sun!

Looking for pics of installed big brake kits

I am very interested as well in seeing some completed installs, this is one of the spring projects i have in mind for the spring and some idea of how the kits look would be great.

Salvage Gen IV - deal or ripoff?

I would have to agree ^, all the little things (fenders, airbox, radiator and who knows what else) being out of alignment to me would indicate the front end of the car suffered some sort of trauma from below, unless they come down on the price quite a bit i would keep looking. If this really...

Have you been able to get any photo shoots set up, these look like very promising wheels and i would be interested to see them on a gen 2. Im really starting to get over the "dished" look, time for somthing fresh.

    carbon wrap

I like it, good alternative to powdercoating small parts that are showing wear. I dont think i would use it on my viper though, fits the personality of my civic more imo
