Correct! Have the dealer clear TEC (Tooth Error Correction) and do an on road re-learn. Accelerate to about 4000 rpm in 2nd gear and then off throttle decel to 2000 rpm. My guess is that will clear up your problem.

Here's what the service manual lists:
-Thermostat Housing = 8 N-m
-Throttle Bodies = 11 N-m
-Rear Main Seal Cover = 12 N-m pan to cover, 11 N-m cover to block
-Intake Manifold Top/Bottom = 12 N-m
-Intake Manifold to Head = 13 N-m
-Valve Cover = 11 N-m
-Coils to Valve Cover = 5...
It will work on '09 and '10's - for a while but eventually you will get a check engine light (but it will of course continue to eliminate the skip shift). It takes six failed skip shifts to set the code so if you drive through the skip anyway it could take a quite a while! It will be the same...

Why would Chrysler cover that under warranty? If you don't track your car with slicks you don't need the solid shafts anyway. Besides, the hollow shafts are 3 lbs lighter and have less rotational inertia.
