Recommended brand of short throw shifter?
MGW all the way, I had one on my previous car ('04 Cobra) and it was the best shifter I've ever had. It made the 2-3 upshift flawless everytime and every shift felt more positive. DLM Paxton Question

Gas Guzzler Tax Viper Vs. Challenger
I would go a step farther and say that the SRT Viper would get all around better fuel economy than the new Challenger if you have a low restriction exhaust and intake installed on the Viper.- omore001

The 14 HP gain comes from K&N'c Cold air intake for the SRT. Most see an 8-10 RWHP gain using the K&N cold air intake. Gen 3 oil change tips
On my 06 coupe, after draining all the old oil, I used 10 qts on my first oil change, gave it plenty of time to settle down. When I measured, it was slightly over the full indicator, maybe a 1/16" over. I drove home, let it cool down, measured again and it was just over the full indicator. I...- omore001

Brake Pad Life
I haven't driven mine hard enough or long enough to know how long the pads last, but I would speculate that if your not constantly slamming the brakes at 150mph+ and you don't track the car, they should last 25K-35K miles before obvious wear is noticed.- omore001

LO-TIRE light
Did you measure the pressure with warm tires or cool tires? If your tires were warm when you measured them, then the pressure dropped a lot when the tires cooled off and it would read low tire after they cooled off. Measure and inflate your tires with the tires cool. If that does not work then...- omore001

Looking for feedback on Hoosier 345/19
I am looking for a track tire for the stock-sized 19 inch rim on my 06 coupe. I need a sticky rear tire and I'm not willing to sabatoge my parking brake in order to make way for an 18" rim. Need traction help
Mike, I don't think there is a slick for 19" but they do have the Hoosier A and R compound which I think will hook a lot better than any other 19" currently offered. I just wonder if that tire is too much for the stock suspension. I don't think changing just tires at the track would be a problem.- omore001
