Not necessarily.
On a drag radial, I'd start @20 PSI, and work my way up in 1 psi increments until your best 60 ft is found....typically 23-25 psi.
If this was a slick, then I'd say yes, take them to 13-15 psi and call it a day...
I'll make a great deal for anyone on this board who wants to purchase my 9500....
It's about two months old, barely used, and I'll make someone a great deal...
Disagree, have both and I'm fixing to sell my 9500ci on Ebay.....It's crap and doesn't pickup even close to what the V1 does...
The V1 can pickup a signal two miles in advance, if not more....I can frequently see the cop before my 9500 even goes off, pathetic...
Hum....well...
I have used the Mickey Thompson ET Street DR's with absolutely great results, handled like a dream on the street as long as it's 100% dry on the road.
I would never get caught dead with it in the rain, but in my last car....2900 lb Nissan making 810whp on E85...these tires...
Car made right at 680whp/623wtq @11.5 A/F at the tailpipe...considering that's about 11.0 at the header...it's more than safe...
Very happy with how it turned out, just need to get some stickier tires....:drive:
I think Mid 11's is ideal for any supercharged/turbocharged car on pump fuel...just curious to hear from the tuners on this board on what they shoot for on the factory bottom end cars.
Will shoot for 11.5 in boost.
Of course A/F is only 1/2 the equation, timing plays just as large a part...
So, I took JoeCool's old Viper to the dyno, wanted to check the state of the tune before removing the front cats.....
The tune, done by A.R.T., was rather lean up top (12.5 to 13.0) from 5000-redline, and I dont feel comfortable with that on cast pistons.....
I'm in NO WAY implying that...
I was told by Roe Racing that the factory Exhaust Manifolds feature 1 3/4 primaries from the factory? Can anyone else confirm this?
If so, I'm just going to install a 3" catless Midpipe in addition to the existing Corsa Cat-back and call it good...
Thanks in advance!
