it only makes sense in a stupid american bigger is better kind of way. Hell, henessey has been supercharging them for years for about 20k retail. in fact, if they didn't. henessy would.
not going to buy one. i'm not a fan of superchargers.
will wait for the convertable though. from what i...
yep, that's why i bought the kit.
apparently, the lifetime warranty does apply to their oil lines, but not the power steering hose.
it was a bit of a rude surprise. the first of which was the failure of the hose itself. i have steel braided lines on high pressure fuel
lines on my boat...
i purchased these lines almost two ears ago. They went on quickly but you had to remove the factory fittings on the pump and fan, a bolt on adaptor, but it was no biggie.
they look great and worked for almost two years. the two lines were touching each other on the left side of the engine bay...
the GMT button is in the settings menu in the time page. btw there are alot of custom mods for the map program. just do a search for igo8 mods
for the dvd function on the older unit there is a menu under settings/factory to turn the brake feature on or off without messing with grounding the...
50 if its a special edition. 45 if its not. would be supprised if they paid more than low 40s for it at auction unless its a consignment car. if its a consignment car knock 5k off the asking price and make the owner an offer outside of the dealership. personally, white and yellow are the two...
it is an improvement over the stock sub. as a poster above mentioned is it worth the effort being it is a 6.5? its like going from a 4 out of 10 to a 6 out of 10. its better, but no, you are still not going to get much out of a 6.5. you get alot more bang for your buck replacing the door...
same with me. no code, no other problems. my 2006 only has about 24k miles when my cat desintegrated in the pipe. one day it worked, next day it didnt. the viper store sells aftermarket hi flo cats i would recommend over the ceramic factory units and they are cheaper. cheaper still is getting...
the speaker wires on the radios harness are out of phase. look at the first page of this post, someone did an exelent job detailing how to fix it. basically, the radio harness is set up neg/pos/neg/pos and the viper is pos/neg/neg/pos. have to change two of the speaker wires. for the new one...
dimensions are exactly the same. have to cut a little from the top plastic brace. fits like a glove after you do. with the old unit you have the option of moving the face plate up a little on the unit by drilling some new holes for the mounting plate. you will lose dvd/cd function of you do but...
sounds like what happened to me. but for me it wouldnt go past 3500. drivers side cat went out. mechanic said it did not get clogged, it fell apart inside of the pipe and literly plugged the exhaust.
good news they are covered under a 8 year 80k mile federal warentee. bad news you will...
i removed the factory shifter handle, took it to a machine shop. they cut it in half and machined some threads on to the end. short throw shifter and i can install any shoft knob i want. less than 50 bucks plus the cost of the knob.
the only advantage you might get from one of these...
the old style unit autoconnects every time. which is why i put it back in the car. the new style unit would not autoconnect. after the unit was turned off, it made you manually connect every time. which is why it sits on a bench being my experiment *****. not to mention there is no external...
second plug is for factory cd changer or xm radio. if your car has neither, just leave it unplugged. if your car has xm radio or a cd changer in the trunk, you will lose that function with this radio. you can use this plug to attach an aftermarket AUX input for a mp3 player if you like with the...
that was how my old style unit was set up. the blue wire in the second slot on the harness is correct. if you want to check it, use a volt meter, it should register 12 volts only when the unit is switched on. the new style unit did not have the "woofer" wire.
