    2003 SRT-10 Overheating

That sounds like it is definitely the issue. I'll be making an appt with the dealer today.

Steering rack? As in the power steering? I've been having issues with that area of the car as well recently. Will do. Thank you so much!

    2003 SRT-10 Overheating

Not to my knowledge. How long ago did the recall occur? This is honestly the first time I've heard of it.

    2003 SRT-10 Overheating

All, Thank you for checking out my thread. I hate to admit this, but after being incredibly reliable and using my 2003 Viper as a daily driver, she has begun to overheat. It started yesterday evening on my way to meeting friends for dinner. I honestly didn't even notice until the red...

    New Owner

Haha, yes it is a far cry from my C5 Corvette I owned - But you know what, I wouldn't take a comfortable Leerjet over a Hornet! Fortunately the new fluid and friction modifier appears to have done the trick after putting about a 100 miles or so on her in the past two days like the SRT Engineers...

    Transmission and/or Rear Differential Problem

Well, after two days and about 100 miles on her, the noise has stopped. Like the SRT Engineers suggested, the friction modifier needed some time to adhere to the parts of the differential. I'm glad that I researched the problem beforehand and a big thanks to all of you guys. I definitely won't...

    Any younger owners get this?

I'm 27 and I've yet to get that comment from my SRT-10. Although when I was 20 I bought a '99 Corvette C5 and was doing something when an older gentlemen came up and said, "It's awfully nice of your dad to let you drive his car."

    Rear Noise on Sharp Turn

Sounds very similar to the issue I posted about today. Does it still make the noise if you depress the clutch while in the sharp turn, or put the shifter into neutral? Mine doesn't...

SRT Engineering Chat HERE on June 21st!

I will make sure I'm driving it often the next couple weeks and see how that effects the rear end. Thank you, and I'll look into the U-joints in the driveshaft.

Unfortunately it looks like I've come upon my first problem as a 2003 Viper owner. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated, and I've conducted searches with little results. For the past month or so I was noticing that my car would making a "clicking" or "clunking" sound in slow...

    Transmission and/or Rear Differential Problem

Thank you - Posting in there now. So as I requested, the differential received new fluid and Mopar friction modifier. The tech had me come into the back while the car was in the air with the windage tray remove. He said that there was "excessive backlash" in the tailshaft of the transmission...

    Transmission and/or Rear Differential Problem

Sonoman, Thank you for your quick reply. I'm hoping that a change in the fluid, along with the addition of Mopar friction modifier will take care of the problem. I thought that was the most likely culprit after the research I had done. I'll update the post after I pick up the car and let you...

    Umm...What is this?

It's a quote from Wedding Crashers... I have an affinity for the movie, as cheesy as it may be, and was simply giving you a hard time.
