How much better are the 01-02 ABS brakes

Belanger header question
This isn't really an answer to your question, but it is another data point for you. On my 2000 GTS, I moved the front O2 sensor to the exhaust turnout downstream of the belanger collectors. I also use the Quickfire O2 sensors (i think that's what they are called). I've driven it for 2k-3k...- Tagoo

Wanted Side Marker Lens Gen One
I assume the gen1 side marker light is the same as the gen2. If so, you can get the amber side marker light at walmart for about $6. Seriously, it is an oval marker light that is used on trailers. The housing (the white plastic part) is slightly different, but the amber lens is identical.- Tagoo

Another loose Crank bolt...kind of
Are you SURE the damper bolt has come partially unscrewed from the crank? As fatboy said, the damper can separate causing movement in the damper. 97 GTS is running really rich, the gas smell is hard to tolerate in the car...

Just take the hood off the car. It is SO simple to do. I believe there are only 4 bolts to remove the hood from the hinges. You just need 2 friends to hold the hood (one on each side) while you unbolt the hood. then place the hood on a blanket with the pad facing upward. Now paint the pad...- Tagoo
