What do you guys think of this oil heater for the cold weather?
Don't even bother with that. Your engine should still turn over even at -35°! That is unless you have replaced your synthetic Mobil Oil with another type that doesn't have the same/similar properties. Look up the specs on Synthetic oil properties and you'll see for yourself how good it can be...- VENM8R

How much do you pay for lic. plates/registration (edit)
Re: How much do you pay for lic. plates? Do you mean the plates themselves or just the the regisration? The flat plates cost $30 (for the "printed" letters/personalized type, no stamping done anymore - etc) For the year 1999 model, 2 year registration cost $130 + I.M. testing $45...- VENM8R

Bubbling Paint
It would be nice to see how many cars have been afflicted with this problem. My car has just started to bubble this month.
