The rear bearing was a 6 lug dakota brg. Viper in it's early
stages was in the jeep/dodge pickup devolpment buildings that
were in detroit. And there used what was available.
The hoods are made in 2 major parts a inner and a outer panel.
All inner panels in the later gen 1 had the cutouts. The
hoods from a gen1 and a gts will interchange. Later model had
the rear catcher hooks. They were to make the hood snap or bend
in the middle in a crash. So as to not let...
The bearings were orginally from a dakota pickup. The stub
end was added due to the fact that it was being used on the viper
front wheel. The stub can be used over. But the nut has to be
locked. Locktite and a chisle strike will retain it. The stub
was to retain the bearing inner races...
