Help! Gen 1 engine coolant leak
I would be inclined to carefully check the coolant hoses going into and out of the thermostat housing before removing or replacing anything. You may have warmed up the engine more than its been used to and partially unseated a hose, developed a pinhole leak or just exposed a slightly loose hose...- Walter Clark

1993 stereo head unit removal and install

94 Viper Head Gasket repair / parts
From what I was able to determine when I replaced mine the Cometic .051" gaskets part C5113-051 are the stock equivalent. Cometic sells thinner and thicker ones so if you were using non-stock pistons or determined something like squish area would be better optimized going thicker or thinner...- Walter Clark

1993 interior door handle surrounds, I just purchased the door handle surrounds and they don’t want to latch on the interior trim. Any suggestions?
I had the same issue with my '94. It appears in my case that the surface of the door cover that the trim piece seats against was a bit curved and the trim piece is flat on that surface. Are the side exhaust covers insulated from the factory?
It wasnt immediately obvious to me that they were trimmed, but the metal should be easily cut by airplane shears / tin snips if needed.- Walter Clark

That makes sense. I took a look at the '05 and '06 parts catalogs and the heat shields drawn in the Exhaust section could be what I have. Found an image on a parts site. That is what mine look like. Thanks!- Walter Clark

Stock motor mounts, Gen 1
Thanks, I think I am good. The new OEM drivers side mount was fine and works well. It is the passenger side replacement that has been the challenge. The original hasn't yet failed, but as rubber degrades over time it's probably not as intended. So I will likely modify the new one so it will fit...- Walter Clark
