You should DEFINITELY sell a ton of the colored center console pieces. If mine weren't that way from the factory, I would do it in a heartbeat. Very nice!

As for the chrome bezel, I personally prefer the triple-chrome one from MGW. It is a much sturdier design and a better shape than the factory version. Plus I can leave my original bezel stock if/when it ever comes time to sell. You can't "unchrome" the original and the next owner may not be crazy about the look. Here is the one from MGW that I use, along with all of the other MGW chrome goodies:

And here it is with the latest matching super-short throw shift knob from MGW:

Good work on the console stuff Ron, and keep it up!

Looks great. A couple questions:

Do you use special paint?
How durable is it?
How much does it cost?
How long does it take?

Thanks

Big difference. The MGW is a solid piece of of triple chromed billet aluminum with a lower profile than the stock bezel. Look closely:

You can see that it is flat on the sides and the top with a single angled bevel in between. Virtually flush with the console itself and an absolute must if you have a short-throw shifter. That is certainly not to take away from your chroming of the factory bezel, and you are the best in the biz when it comes to paint work. Still love those painted hood pads! :2tu:

Ron,

How much would it cost to paint the center/console pieces to match my silver 04 viper?
