Today i hit the curb with my side pipe sills it scratched up the bottom of it some, and dented it a little on the bottom where the exhaust comes out. Its not noticable up close but when you stand a good ways back from the car you can see the silver and the roughness on the bottom some where the curb scraped it. Was thinking about having someone repair it this winter since i want to put roe exhaust on as soon as i put it away for the winter anyway and will have the covers off. Is this an expensive repair? any suggestions as to someone who can do it and make it look exactly like factory (same color black and all)?

It's no big deal. The side sills are aluminum and can be reshaped and painted. I dented my driver sill the whole length rubbing a curb at a toll booth. I took the sill off (easy) brought it to a local body shop. They reshaped it perfectly and painted and cleared it, it looks better than new. In fact, I'm going to take the other one off and have them do it. I paid $300.00 for it.

PS Forget a new one they are over 3K believe it or not.

Agree with everyone here, mine were REALLY messed up, my body guy repaired them perfect. Look flawless, prolly easiest body part to work on, don't worry. I think I paid around $300, but had other work done so that was prolly a low price.

$5300K? lol... drop the K dude.

just had one of my side sills repaired & repainted. your best bet is to do what i did... kindly ask your brother-in-law who works for mac trucks and has access to paint facility if he would repair / repaint. will cost you about $72/qt for the paint. :D
