I would need this Vert option just to drive a stock nsx! i got in new NSX at the dealer a few years back & i had to duck down when sitting in the seat, at 6'3 the roof inside was even with my chin, i needed to lose about 5 inches of height just to sit in her,. i hopped out right away, grossed out. I remember now being pretty ********** at honda/acura. making a car for 5'5" people? at least make a seat lowering option from the factory if you plan to sell a car in the USA. that was my take anyway.

The reason why the NSX costs $88,000 new is because it was extremely expensive to produce (I don't even think Honda made any money on the NSX itself). The car is all aluminium (chassis and body panels) which is pretty expensive. The NSX is not just about a 0-60 time; It's about all-around performance, world class handling, sharp looks, being one of the most stable cars in the world at high speeds. It has also been ranked the highest quality car ever (not just sports car, car in general).

When you think about it, the $88K MSRP is not really excessive at all. You're not going to be able to find any other car at this pricetag that will give you near the same experience.

That's been the latest rumor for the next NSX. 2750 lbs, 450 hp V10. It's still up in the air now, nothing has been confirmed or denied by Honda.

I could've sworn the President of Honda Motor Co stated that there will be a successor to the NSX. I was on the fence for a long time between the NSX and my 06 Coupe. Although the NSX has some nice qualities. The hp gain for me won out. I mean going from 450hp to 290? At this point I couldn't see myself going that route. Not saying I would never do it either ;) . I'm gonna wait on what Honda dishes out next and go from there.

hey allblack, where did you get your tint for the lights on your car? i planned on doing the same thing to all my lights on my black 04. i found a website called www.stickercity.com and they sell a couple of different smoked vinyl by the roll. not sure if that is what you used and also what shade: medium or dark

I'm sorry but WHO CARES that it costs honda a lot to produce the NSX...that doesnt translate into a better driving experience just because their operating costs are high.

When you punch the gas in an NSX...NOTHING happens....what is the 0-60 in the thing like 7 seconds?!?

The NSX would be a great car for $55k, NOT 90. As an alternative to buying an M3 or something.

And to repeat..the s2000 is newer/better technology for 30k, and just as fast.

Who wants a "sports car" that handles well and is slow?

I remember when I was considering the 360 Spider..and my brother asked me how it was...and my response was..it handles great like an NSX...but actually has sports car power and fun.

No question the NSX is a great handling car....but its NOT worth 90k...and would much rather "drive" a subaru STI (which is faster and can out handle) and bank the 60k for something else

Some of you guys are idiots....Good luck finding an S2000 that can do 0-60 in 4.5 secs and 12.9 at 110mph in the 1/4. Car and Driver did those numbers back in 98 on the newer 290hp NSX's..Thats what these newer NSX's do. BTW it beat up on the C5 Vette. Dont even mention about the Zanardi edition which was even faster..The original NSX's were the slower high 13 sec cars that even my 350z stocker can run with. Get your facts straight before you start tearing someones car down...At least know what tha *** you are talking about...NSX's are great cars..May not be as fast as Vipers but they are all around better cars than the Viper...Id rather own the GTS but you have to give the NSX its due...

BTW loved the older front style much better than the flounder looking new front.
