I am on the fence about getting the polished replacement side emblems for my 08 SRT10. My main concern is if the replacements are raised letters like the factory ones or are they just flat stickers. I have looked at pictures on different sites but can't really tell. Has anyone got some up close pics. Also, some up close pics of the exhaust surrounds in polished would be nice too......Thanks....

Sorry you can't really see the side emblems. Personally on our 04 Vert the Silver
bling looks great. But I would not do the same on our Venom Red 08. To
garish. I have actually thought of taking off the side emblems completely
or replacing them with black. Yea and the H wheels went to the 04.
But you have to love the exhaust surrounds. That was a pain to do.

I have the factory-sized chrome vinyl, raised letters (NOT the flat stainless steel letters) on my black SRT-10 and think they look great. There are miniscule bubbles in the vinyl that are part of the manufacturing process, but you can't tell once they're installed.

I also have the flat stainless steel exhaust tip surrounds and they look great. Most people think it came from the factory like that.

I have stainless steel emblems on my car now. They look nice head on but at an angle they can get lost. They reflect the light like a mirror and project themselves on the road way. Which is kind of fun. On the rear they don't bend to the curve of the bumper so I am not too pleased with that, but it's a small thing. They are lifted away from the surface of the car with a thin rubber like material so the metal is not in contact with your paint. But this also makes them more of a hastle when you clean or wax your car.

Basicly, on my color car, I think I'm going to change to the black ones.

Ive got an extra set of the exhaust surrounds, got mixed up in lost mail, long story... the first set one fell off the other I took off... any suggestions on how you all got them to stick? I did as I was told I believe and that was to apply to a "warm" car, and go for a long drive on a warm day which I did to find one half coming off already:(
