My wife drove the car to the store the other day and came back out and the car wouldnt start. The fuel pump does not come on. I checked the fuses and relays. Everything checks out ok. Im guessing somehow it went into autoshutdown mode. anyone know how to reset it so I can drive the car again?
maybe call Chuck Tator?

Just a guess, but maybe the battery is low and caused the alarm to shut the car down? Hood out of adjustment making the sensor trip the alarm?

Hmmm...The battery isnt low since the car is driven daily. Im positive about that. As for the hood I havent meesed with it at all to cause it to get out of adjustment.
Does anyone know the correct way to reset the autoshutdown mode?

Sorry...figured you'd do a quick search.

UPDATE: I did do a search...saw the "AEM" reference...doubt I can help once "OEM status" changed. Good luck.

Hey Steve-Indy. I tried it last night when I got home. I got into the car and put the key in the keyhole inside the armrest rest. I tired both way. I turned it to the right til the key doesnt turn anymore and put the key in the ignition and nothing. Also tried turning the key to the left in the armrest and still nothing. I will call you later in the week so I dont bother you on weekends..Thanks again and I WILL be talking to you soon. LOL

Can anyone email me a wiring diagram from the ignition key all the way to the fuel pump?

Nah...The AEM took a dump. I swapped out my AEM with a buddys AEM and the fuel pump came on. I put my AEM back on and nothing.
I cant start the car cause I broke the cam sensor installing incorectly. But Im 99% sure the AEM is toast.

What 'revision' does it say you have on the back of the AEM? There had been at least 3 recalls on the AEM, including one where exactly what you are describing happened.

Whats up "Nobody". Remember me? Anyways I called AEM and gave them the serial number. There is a sticker that says "Rev" with the letter "B" stamped and "Mods" with "D" stamped. Tech dude told me the AEM has the latest updates. Im sending it back Saturday morning after I save the maps.

Thanks for posting this up....mine is the same rev/mods as yours and I thought that was the most current version. Probably stick mine in the mail this week as well. Also, if anyone runs into this issue with a stock ECU then check the crank position sensor. Not sure if this rule applies to the Viper, but the ASD relay typically shuts down power to the injectors and fuel pump in other Chrysler products and the CPK is the most common cause.
