Jason So let me just get this clear. You are calling me stupid...Right? And im on the Viper forum because I was going to get a Viper. So I like to learn as much as I can.But I would buy another Vette with a 427 TT and run low 9's with a waranty befor a Viper. Do u have any type of waranty...- DJ Self

Jason U have some good points about street racing. But I dont take part in that type of street racing. I dont even speed or have any speeding tickets. So no im not stupid. But u might be. A heads up street race from a dead stop to 1/4 mile. Point/point hands go up and then go down. First to finish wins. (No timeslips to show mommy) I do not mind racing at the track. The reason we can beat a Viper is because we got the better car to street race.I could buy a Viper and just put NOS on it and spend less $ than I did on the Vette. lol... We dont have to run low 11's to beat a Viper in a street race. I have seen close to stock Vettes and Zo6's win on the street against Vipers. Let me just say this...X and I will race any Viper in our area that thinks it has a chance. All in good fun and no flame intended- DJ Self

I could not get a race. No Vipers showed up. So I asked a Supra to run for $20 but he said no. Then I asked a RX7 drag car to run for $50-100 and he said no. (It ran high 11's.) So I just did a pass and went home.- DJ Self
