    Do i need to let me car viper warm up before driving it?

    While yours is a gen 3 sidepipe car, the Gen 2's with rear exhaust I usually let the exhaust spit out most of the moisture before taking off. This greatly reduces the amount of black soot on the rear of the car.

    My first ride in friends Gen 4 when we stopped some schlep said nice corvette to him. F#$@ that crap nobody mistakes a Gen 1 or 2 Viper period. I wouldn't mind adding a Gen 4, but only in death will i part with my GTS.

    I hope your not planning on traveling on route 15. Flat roads and short trips I do not see a problem. As i told my son when I was pulling my enclosed trailer with my old Suburban on route 15. "If we stop making progress going up the hill be sure to jump out and chock the wheels!!!"

    Re: Tracked my GTS! (NARRA pics too) One thing I would do pronto is heat shield all the rubber boots on the suspension close to the brakes. You will find these will melt very easily and the grease will be oozing out from then on till replaced.

    Anyone have an Autoform rollbar in their GTS?

    I have one in my GTS visibility is fine. Seat travel is fine but what does end up having is the seat will come in contact with the riser bar by the door. Eventually you will get annoyed of the sqeaking of the seat rubbing on the bar. Which of course then you adjust the seat forward some and tilt...

    Neutral Gear rattle/Oil pan gasket=HELP!!!

    might not be the rear main seal, mine was one of the galley plugs leaking. At least that is what they told me and it does not collect oil there now.

    My Viper was STOLEN.

    Anybody ever activate the alarm and set it off. Then don't reset it, so basically the car will fire up and run for a second then shutdown! When back at home use the key reset the alarm in the glove box and your on your way.

    I tried blowing up some Viper magazine covers at Kinko's for personnal use only and they said it was a NO GO!!! Copyright infringement. I got the idea from Jerry (8of100) in California as he made them poster size and hung them in his garage mahal. Probably depends on where you take it to be done.

    The Hissstory poster was sent to VCA Members for free many years ago. During the Viper racing heyday. Was kinda cool back then not knowing what might show up at your doorstep. I always liked finding the 1 or 2 page add in USA Today after a race win!!!! Those were the days!!!!!!!!

    VCA member killed last night in Traffic accident

    He was Ron Adee's co pilot that year winning in a Corvette. Very sincere person, chatted with him on various occasions during that years one lap event. My condolences to his family and friends.
