Great review and pics! Did you get a chance to play with the launch control yet? There is a good review in the latest VIPER magazine with some nice shots of the gauges as well. From the review it sounds like the two-mode suspension of the GTS is worth the price of admission alone. Look...
For starters you are looking at forged pistons, larger and sodium filled exhaust valves, a redesigned composite intake manifold, and a more advanced engine air management system.
We switched to a Gen 4 hood and like the looks much more from inside and out. Went OEM from VPA and skipped the silencer/insulator. Heard about an aftermarket hood flipping off and over a Viper at speed in Europe and it wasn't a risk worth taking to us. Blower sounds better too!
We purchased three Vipers and an SRT4 from Woodhouse Dodge over the past 13 years - all from Bill Pemberton. They were always very, very accommodating including some of the nicest delivery drivers we have ever met. Always check with them regardless of which model year you are looking for.
PS...
We have about 27,000 miles on our '05 with roughly 20,000 on a trouble-free DLM Paxton build. Greg Good heads, Comp Coupe cam, and forged internals making 870 rwhp on pump gas. Absolutely love it and wouldn't trade it for all the Gen 5's in the world.
They will be offered through the VCA Store later this coming week. We had a number of hassles with posters at VOI 11, not the least of which was shipping/storing 900 mailing tubes and caps. The VOI 12 posters are slightly smaller but with a laminated finish - similar to the VIPER magazine...
I think I kick started a couple bids but didn't come close to winning anything. Don't even remember bidding on the coins, but knew they were probably the best deal of the night...
The drive through West Virginia is beautiful. If you are looking for a scenic (and slow) way back, try the Blue Ridge Parkway - which also connects up or gets very close to the Tail of the Dragon road. The only caveat is that the Blue Ridge Parkway is maintained entirely by the National Park...
There is an orange SRT10 running around there as well. Might be worth checking with the North Central Florida Viper Club to see if they have other members there - and might fund an event for members in that area (meal, dyno day, etc.).

Note that you CANNOT call the hotels directly and get a room until you are registered for the event itself. We had quite a few folks get the VOI rate in SLC but they weren't registered for the event. We will be providing rooming lists as you register for VOI 12. You can...
