I have the car out tonight. I took the air wheel to the plate and made it actually look decent. It's not something somebody will see, but I know it's there. The hardest part was just taking off enough to get the filter through, no more. It was more like 20 test fits to get it right, but I...
That is a very good question. I need to go through all the paperwork and start a spread sheet.
Steve, your help was huge, thanks a lot. As busy as Tom was he still took his time with me on the phone. I tried to cut the conversation short so he could get back to the paying jobs, but he still...
Thanks guys, too late to go back. I had to pound a screwdriver through the filter just to get it off so there was no going back. I just got done cutting the bracket, so I will finally be able to complete this simple task that took me 4 hours. I consulted a few people before taking the cutter...
Sucks is a very nice way of describing this. I want to go through the paper work and Carfax so I at least know who not to take it to for the proper repairs. Beautiful day and now the car is stranded.
Tagoo, Steve and Plumb. Yeah, my recall was done improperly. I wish I was just stupid enough to not get the filter out. Now to figure out what plan B is. The oil filter adapter is what's stopping me from pulling it out by the A arm, and other than raising the motor or notching the plate, I'm...
I have the filter off and have tried every spot I can see and can't get the filter out of the car. Is there something that needs to be removed or just a spot I haven't seen yet?
If you are looking to sell the 6 spokes, send me a PM with a price. I was just about to pull the pin on a new set, but used doesn't bother me one bit as long as they are in nice shape. You can easily find out what new ones go for which will help you decide on a value.
Race cars tend to sell for quite a bit less, DC had a real nice GTS set up srictly for racing with big bucks dumped in if for Like $43, 000 not to long ago.
I stand corrected, but remain confused. Why does that section even exist if all the information exists outside it? I thought one of the perks of becoming a memberr was gaining access to those sections.
I would like to see all of them, but unfortunately they will all end up in the members only section. I am a member, but never like the fact that the technical articles could not be viewed by non members.
This is one of the few technical threads that happen on here anymore, so the more information we get out of it the better. What exactly is the issue with what the original poster did?
I wish I could remember where I read this but the new Dodge front u joint for the Cummins 4x4 were much cheaper and stronger and fit perfectly. I will see if I can find the thread I read it in.
Another very nice product. No offense is meant by this, but you really need to update your site with the new products. I'm sure there are a lot of Internet shoppers here like me that like to explore options online before making any calls or purchases. You have so many things coming out so...
That is the closest thing that they make that would make me consider buying a Gen5. That paint job is timeless and needs a place in every generation, even for a limited run. Is it just me or does the new model come with quite a bit of negative camber in the front?
