Broke my thread on hood. Help!

While re adjusting my hood, I broke off one thread on my hood. The part that is drilled into the hood, 2 on each side. I broke one off. Trying to get some suggestions on how I can fix this, surely shouldn't have to replace the whole hood. Has anyone just stripping the thread and put a replacement in?

If its just the thread try installing a helicoil in its place.

Half of the thread is still on the hood. Is there anything on the inside of the hood like a bolt head or is it just a straight thread? Asking because Half of it is still on and Im just going to try to drill a hole in the thread and use an easy out to get it out and I'll try the heli coil suggestion.

Easy out would be my first try. I would go with some spray Kroil first, that stuff works wonders.
