    tow hooks?

I use mine to tie down all of the Vipers running at our region's dyno days. Tie down all 4 corners and let it rip. Easy on - easy off. No pix but next time I have it on the lift I'll snap one. You just angle them in and out. Another source: (these are the type I use, without the extra chain...

    tow hooks?

The correct hooks that connect into the factory gusseted oval holes are called "R" hooks. and are available here: http://www.macscustomtiedowns.com/product/90/Towing Handy to keep 4 in the back just in case...

    Anyone with Car Lift info?

If you are limited by garage floor structure (i.e. not enough concrete depth, mix design "PSI" or proximity of expansion joints) and/or garage width, want wheels free rather than storage, and cost isn't the first concern, the Nussbaum Jumbo NT scissor lift might be the one for you. 4.5" drive...

1997 Viper GTS with 605 miles for $43,000?

That I agree with, however regarding colors I have a slightly different perspective and not because I have blue & white. While about the same number of B&W GTS's versus red GTS were produced (2,128 vs. 2,156), a red GTS could be a 1997, 1998, and if you didn't notice the wheel change, a 1999...

    Perplexed

Must have been... While I did have a weakened solder joint leak, after doing only two coolant changes in 16 years & 32,000 miles (Dexcool & distilled water only), the tubes in my '96 look virtually pristine. Amazing how bad they can get.

GENI & II OEM "like" Radiator Replacement Option

Yeh, you wouldn't think it be that hard to get it right... Not rocket science. I'm still using my repaired OEM unit so no further X2 experience from me at this point. Looking forward to MM comments.

GENI & II OEM "like" Radiator Replacement Option

Camfab, I've always suspected the same. Easier on the lawyers I guess. Tom F&L GoR was very instrumental in my selecting Dexcool just as he was in my using Diesel engine oil formulations in all of my fleet. The man knows his stuff and if Dexcool was good enough for all of his cars, it was good...

GENI & II OEM "like" Radiator Replacement Option

s55c - I have to say as a corrosion preventative coolant, I love Dexcool. I know there were issues with air being trapped in certain systems that mudded up the coolant, but I've had nothing but good luck with it in my cars. I changed my Viper over to it back in 2000 and my Town & Country in...

GENI & II OEM "like" Radiator Replacement Option

Brent - I don't have an update on the X2 because my repaired original radiator is still going strong so the X2 still hasn't been installed. Thought I saw a hint of seapage a while back but dry as a bone now. In your picture it looks like your radiator is really digging into the cowling...

How much do GG heads cost?

Perhaps mentioned elsewhere, but why did Sean cease production?

    I'm gonna puke:(

My 2 cents is to do the math - If you plan on keeping the car, the added expense isn't beyond your means, and felt that the car was underpowered, do it. On the other hand, it sounds like you'd love to have it back to where it was the day before this happened and that's certainly a more...

How many miles before you should change the fuel filter? Not in owners manual ---

Re: How many miles before you should change the fuel filter? Not in owners manual -- Why go through the hassle until it becomes an issue? Fuel starvation at full throttle? Change it. Until then, enjoy it. Unlike an air filter, you'll know when it becomes a problem.

How are you rewiring the harness in your door?

Not answering your question directly but I found the boot to shrink in length with age and had to gorilla glue it in. Worked great. As far as the wiring goes it seems to be more of an issue that the wires are slight too short, which compounded by the flexing breaks them. When it happens to me...

    Oil Pan Gasket Question/Observation

For what it's worth, mine leaked exactly as you described (bolt holes) only when I used silicone on the bead. In frustration, I ended up getting another new gasket and didn't use silicone (except at the timing cover and rear main seal plate seams) and it didn't leak - 10 years later still dry.
