Wow! Nice job on the pictures. Those look great!
Looking forward to another great summer of Viper-filled events. Glad you guys have been able to join us on the last couple of cruises and parties.
P.S. You might want to check your belts or something. That car has a wicked loud whine to...
how would they go about doing so?
I know someone who is interested in sponsoring the SRT10 section of this site. Who do they need to talk to and what do they need do to make this happen?
I never had a problem getting a hold of them via phone or email. Kevin would even return emails from his iPhone if he was out of the office.
He is surprisingly easy to get a hold of.
Try giving him a call at 704-361-3443
It actually wasn't that bad at all. I had already purchased a set of heads back in early 2007. So that money was spent over a year ago. They just never got installed. The motor and the cam were the only other "go fast" upgrades outside of the "package deal" and I had the proceeds from the...
I would love to see what it would do with more boost, but that's about the smallest pulley they have and it just wouldn't make more than 10 psi (until right at 6000 rpms, where I think it finally crept up to a whopping 10.9 psi). But at least I know the motor isn't working very hard to make...
All I can say is WOW.
When I first bought my 1998 GTS, it was bone stock with 12,000 miles. It didn't even have so much as K&N's or smooth tubes. In fact, it still had the original tires on all 4 corners. It was the perfect, pampered car for my first Viper.
Within about 3 months, I'd...
I completely understand HOW it works. What I'm trying to determine is how WELL it works.
I was hoping maybe somebody had some air inlet temps from before the upgrade and then some air inlet temps after the upgrade.
I want to know what the difference is in charge air temps with the DLM vs the...
Has anyone done any actual testing with either of the "upgraded" intercooler/pump setups?
I've heard people say they notice a difference, but what exactly is the difference?
What are the air temps before and after the upgrade?
What are the boost levels before and after?
Was there an HP loss...
I believe the Gen III uses the 9005 for both the headlight AND the fog light.
The Gen II can use the 9005 for the headlight but must use the H3 for the fog lights.
Anil-8u has a Gen III so he has the 9005's in both the headlights and fog lights.
I have a Gen II, so I'm going to get the 9005's...
The Wollesen's cars were certainly the show stoppers at that event. Both cars looked incredible and had, by far, the biggest crowds around them during the show. :2tu:
I have some brand new Greg Good heads which were ported with an eye towards use with the Roe blower for sale in the classifieds.
Great flow numbers, especially in the low lift range where the Roe really shines.
I did a search for this and found a couple of threads that asked the question, but none of them ever ended up giving the answer (for some reason the threads always ended up talking about the weight of the factory 18" wheels).
I would like to see if anyone knows what the weight of the factory...
Knowing what we know about Macedo and his "magic dyno" that seems to always run on the high side and never be able to be duplicated, I posit to you the same inquiry that I did on the Alley:
Have you ever personally dyno'd your car? Or are you just going on the numbers that the previous...
Chris,
You've met Shawn before at some of our Mickey's get togethers. I'm glad he finally made the decision to get back into Vipers. I had a chance to drive his car the other night and it looks amazing and drives incredibly well. I suspect the car has at least a cat-back exhaust and perhaps...
After I read that thread a couple of years ago, I immediately hot-footed it to my local Wal-Mart and purchased that same thing. I absolutely love it. Frankly, unless you know Vipers, you don't know that it isn't part of the car. The black plastic fits in nicely with the black plastic center...
I have the PBJ intake on my Roe blower car and absolutely love it. I opted for the long cold air setup that also draws air from the fascia. Well worth the money. I had smooth tubes and K&N's on the Roe for a year before switching to the PBJ unit. It was difficult to quantify the results on...
I'm looking for a better way to record races than the single camcorder mount. For example, in a drag race, the single rear-facing camcorder is great AFTER you've started putting car lengths on the person next to you, but it doesn't show any side-by-side action or what's going on in front of you...
I can't imagine there is any benefit to it if your car is stock. The factory pump is more than capable of handling well in excess of stock power levels. Only when you start getting into the high 500+ rwhp levels will the stock pump start to struggle a little. That's when the additional...
Same here. 6000 miles on my Roe blower with MSD making 630/675 and no problems whatsoever. Plus, it was recommended by Sean Roe (and Joe Donovan approves of it).
