I was wondering what kind of hp and torque difference adding a set of the roe heads would add to a setup with their s/c, headers, exhaust , 1.7 rockers. With an 8 lb pulley I'm guessing around 575 versus 625? Am I in the ballpark?

Thanks

I was wondering the same..
I used AFR's on a build. Great Heads...lets say they added for easy numbers 100 horse.
Assuming the compression ratio stays the same as does the boost from the stock head set up and you were boosting 100 horse with the blower....would a good estimate be that you add the increases made by both mods...or 200 horse. So many variables like exaust port shape, header type...sheesh just the headers can change everything....

As a "rule of thumb add 50rwhp for heads. Hopefully you get more, but the amounts depend on valve sizes, backcuts, stem size, size of ports, etc. Larger ports and valves can lose bottom end power while increasing top end power. If heads are to be used on a street car, some heads will compromize fuel mileage.

Since heads affect the mixture, tune also makes a difference.

I have some brand new Greg Good heads which were ported with an eye towards use with the Roe blower for sale in the classifieds.

Great flow numbers, especially in the low lift range where the Roe really shines.
