PLEASE, PLEASE go crawl back into the hole you came out of! Your not impressing anyone with your blabber about car audio. Why don't you go buy a $100,000.00 car and hack it up to get a perfect sound stage then come back and let me know how that works out for ya.........you belong on DIYMA not...
Unless you have sat in my car and heard those speakers you have no ground to stand on! The QS65.5 was built to compete with the rest of the high end speakers out there like it or not. Now go waste some other forums time......
Not if I can help it!! :crazy2: The weather is looking to be just about perfect at this point for the whole weekend!!
By the way, will anyone that plans on going have the two tools needed to make wing adjustments on the ACR?
Well, maybe I can help. I just installed a complete system in my car because it had none before (Hardcore Package). Anyway, I went with a Kenwood KDC-X917 for the head unit, JL Audio HD 900/5 amp, JL Audio CS110LG-TW3 10" Sub & box and finally a set of Kicker QS65.5 components for the doors...
I am about to install a new stereo system in my 2009 ACR Hardcore and was curious if anyone has pulled new speaker wire through from the doors. It looks like it's gonna be a real beaatch getting to the openings under the dash. :crazy2: Anyone been there done that on a GEN 3/4?
Jeez Ryan, with the quality video your putting together you may have found your true calling! :D By the way, with all the competition that will be there I may need to drop down a group........or not :headbang:!!
Looking forward to a 1:30 lap this year thanks to the 4 shiny new MICHELIN ACR-X Cup Slicks the brown truck just delivered. Hope the weather cooperates again this year! :headbang:
Not a bad idea about the helmet mount. I actually was in my fire suit, gloves, helmet and Piloti shoes for both runs. I got this thing about death and don't feel the need to risk it when possible. :2tu:
My track extension must have gotten low enough to make contact with the road and it ground through 3 of the fasteners which then let the passeneger side fall down and crack my carbon fiber front mount. You have to understand the noise level with 3" exhaust & no cats and the ACR-X Borla Mufflers...
Holding a small HD Cam in my right hand while driving with my left hand. In the longer video you can easily tell when I had to shift from 4th to 5th because the video really gets jossled around. The video was not ment to document anything, I was just curious if I could even make a video while...
Here is the scoop.....I have personally had the car above 200 MPH according to the speedo. I have bad self made video of it doing 195+ MPH but was forced to let off early in the two videos I have on youtube. I will be doing a GoPro video soon along with having GPS in the car to make it...
Just an update to the thread that all is well with the ACR and has it has seen 200+ MPH with the factory spoiler setting.:headbang: The "track splitter" is NOT to be used at such high speeds as I found out the hard way. :crazy2: I am NEVER getting rid of this one.......
