Anyone has a timing cover?
Hi just looking for a junk one, it doesn't have to be repairable. Same goes for the timing cover. Thanks!
EDIT: okay I found a used gen 3 crankshaft already for cheap! Now help me out with a timing cover. Again, it can be in any condition other than the has to be...
I did contact them and Bill responded back. A great guy but he doesn't have anything in stock. Its custom made through ati racing. His is made for only his pump because his is small compare to normal pumps. I'm trying to find a mandrel pulley drive but may have to get custom made by ati racing.
Okay I been leaning towards the 5 stage like you mention. I am custom making the pan. No welding be is involve. There will be some CAD work into it. It will be three piece setup with bolts. As for where the pump located, it will be on the bottom of the engine but I have to make it a low profile...
I couldn't choose to go with the 08 oil pan or just go dry sump. So I decided to go dry. After figuring prices, its gonna cost me roughly the same as the kit (building it myself). I have all the maching and equipment to use. I have couple question. What stage is best? I do road racing the most...
It's not mine, but sure freak the crap outta me to see that there's another viper just like mine within 2hrs away. Considering they only made 33 bumblebee and 3 I know of that are totaled.
Found the video :)

It sure looks like mine! Same wheels TOO!! Still awaiting for a phone call.
I was texted by a viper friend to make sure it wasnt me and it isnt. I will have to make a phone call where i store my viper over the winter to make sure it wasnt stolen!!
Oh it does say that but I've worked on enough vehicles and if I didn't put loctite on, it would actually get loose. According to the manual, you just put head gasket without putting any kind of sealant on. I learned my lesson on that because only when it the viper sit, coolant will have a couple...
Okay, did you at least put loctite on?!
Your power steering is what controls your coolant fan. It should be spinning really fast at normal temp. Power steering is a recall if it's the original pump.
Okay, you may think I sound like a dick but I think your mechanic that did your work is an...
Okay I forgot to ask too, I know you were bumping up the compression to 9.9:1 and you got the thinner headgaskets right? This will vary on pushrod length but not sure how that works on the roller rockers but on stock rockers it's 7.600 (calibered at 7.596) that roe racing gives ya. Old stock...
Ooo I forgot to mention that I installed slow bleeders lifters. You can order these out of 96-01 vipers. I got the Easton's brand. I have no noise whatsoever.
As for the upgraded valve springs, did you buy the actual kit from roe racing or just the springs? My machine guy had have them fitted...
"08 swing arm will prevent oil stravation. If you have a long enough turn at high g's, you can run out of oil (which is what happened to mine). Well gotta register within a time limit to come to the party lol. Only happens once a year but I hear its gonna be big (it usually does every year)...
I thought I mention that in one of my post but I may have not. It's very mild which does show at the beginning of my video that it bucks. I'm not too concern. I did ask Sean a while back that it was running too rich at idle. He lean that out abit but only slightly rich during start up which is...
I got a quick reply from Sean at Roe Racing and you are right but it was already fix in my tune and what causes the bucking to be there still is my Lightweight flywheel. Here's his message. I didn't even tell him that I have a Lightweight flywheel.
Hi Jeff,
Fuel wise, since the PCM is adapting...
Yeah, it's been a long time! I haven't been doing a lot in the IL viper club lately since I've been busy over the summer also the fact that the engine blew :( Very happy how it turned out but I had to buy another block because it got destoryed. That was the most expensive part I had to buy lol...
Opps sorry I misread your post! Thought you meant comp coupe cam lol yes that is similar
I just found out on my iPhone I can upload videos now haha so here's the link

Enjoy :) I'll have another one of me driving it...
Thanks plum, I gave Sean an email to see what his input is.
Atppilot, yours sounds great but not quite as close to the 710. Mine actually has more lift which you can tell by hearing it but of course it's louder ;). So I can't say the cam are close to the same. If I got time today, I'll post...
O really?! why can't I? It's very streetable and the only thing is that when you mix big TB and big cam, its never gonna act like stock form. I did have dyno my old setup before at a different dyno shop which is the same Dynojet's. One was single the other was dual. Maybe that's why. I thought I...
