With 3 weeks to go, I very much doubt that they will sell 400 more tickets at $300 a piece. So, anyone that buys a ticket today is most likely betting on winning maybe 15k-25k. Just my guess. But, if it is a charitable deduction that you would have made anyway; then, a no lose situation.
That does not look like a stereotypical water pump failure; but, I do not wrench for a living. I have only seen slow dripping from a failing water pump shaft seal. Nothing so significant as your video. I guess that it could be the gasket for the water pump or timing chain cover. I like the...
Well, a google search does show a grainy picture of the damage from one angle. It definitely needs to be inspected by a respected body shop before commiting to a purchase.

I only fixed wires in the door jamb harness that failed the pull test, like you did. I think that over 8 years of ownership, I had to fix wires in the driver's door jamb harness 3 or 4 times. Its so easy to do that I never considered replacing the harness, and did not care to do all of them at...
I never heard any noises out of the poly mounts. I think that noises would be impossible since the poly is bonded to the metal, unlike in a suspension bushing where the poly is pressed in and can move relative too the metal sleeve.
I did notice additional vibration when I first installed the...
What he is referring to is Arrow Racing Engines http://www.arrowracingengines.com/arrowrebuildservices.html
They are a very respected rebuilder of Viper engines.
This might be difficult transaction since your email address indicates that you are probably in Europe?
Also, you might want to...
Sorry, I don't know about SPT. The 5 point typically requires an anchor point near the front of the seat for the 5th belt and usually needs to pass through the seat cushion pretty close and central to your naughty bits. The Teamtech harness 6-point routes the 2 lower belts from the back of...
LOL ! No one who buys a Viper is "normal" !

For the same reason that your wife cares if you say she is fat even if she is. Human nature. Just because you act some way hardly means that is normal. You bought a Gen 2. You could have bought a nice practical pick up truck or 4 door sedan with that money !!
Intercity transported mine from AZ to MA. The driver that handled my shipment was from MA and was top notch ! He carried lots of high end cars. Sorry, I can not remember his name. They came earlier than expected to pick the car up. I think that with the big semi-truck trailer carriers...
Re: What can be done about wheel hop?Got my first case of it tonight at the track-01
It could be as simple as bad shocks. Anything sloppy in the driveline and suspension could be the cause, IMHO. In my case, I was seeing it accelerating out of sharp right turns during an HPDE track day. I...
I use the Mobil 1 filter on my other high performance car and the NAPA Gold (made by Wix) on the other vehicles after much research and reading in this forum and other forums. I had a discount at my dealer, so, I would buy several Viper filters at a time so that I would not find myself without...
Don't quote me on this; but, I have heard from some people that if you talk to car dealers, sometimes they will come down from a price. It might take a little longer than just paying them what they are asking. Sometimes they are trying to win a vacation, or maybe their momma is sick and needs...
One engineering reason for choosing Mobil 1 0W-40 (street) or 15W-50 (track or lots of high temperatures) is that Mobil publishes the Zinc/Phosphate levels
( http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Files/Mobil_1_Product_Guide.pdf ) for their oils, and the viscosities that I and others...
LOL !!! Not everyone has the money to buy a Corvette. or a Subaru BRZ. or a Ferrari 458.

Exact same feelings here. I need to stop reading these threads,or the non-intellectual side will overrule.
I am feeling lust in my heart for yellow/black.

I don't know about others, but, I would say the same thing to a VCA member posting on the VOA forum about whatever upsets him about the VCA. Its really a Viper Alley type of whine.
Somehow it does not seem to be appropriate for you as a VOA member to come to the VCA forum to ask questions of the VOA leadership or its members. If you can not post on the VOA forum, then you should utilize Viper Alley, IMHO. Posting such things here does not help the 2 clubs and their...
Sorry, I can't help you there. Here is the old interchange thread; but nothing listed for the lower ball joint other than a factory number, 4848174
http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/569146-Shared-parts-between-Vipers-and-other-brands.
I see that part listed on a few sites, including VPA...
Thanks, it is good to know his username there also. It does look like his last post on that other website was several months ago, at about the same time as his last post on this website. So, that is a help for those that are unaware of the history.
I think that's why some people don't use the recommended fluid on the older cars, and go to Royal Purple instead. Because it tastes like grape Koolaid ... ( served from a used motor oil bottle ) :D
