I currently have: HISSSN
I've looked through the old threads but wanted to starta new one because most of the old threads are "leftover" ideas after the good ones have been taken. Thanks and keep them coming...
Whether or not I am right about the old stuff, what proves out is BIG torque matters a lot!!! Joe Blow on the street discounts torque and is more excited about HP, but torque is what gets that thing going... The Gen 5 is a torque monster and I love that fact!!! :2tu:
This is a different license plate thread... This is why:
I may have a chance to get any plate I want on my Viper. Therefore, I have everything available to me. Nothing taken. Normally when we choose a plate most things are taken, but not in this case.
With that being, what would be the...
Rocket, I love the Canada edition center stripe. I also see nothing wrong with either of your other ones. You need to do what you like best. My preference = Canada Edition stripe!!!
The new cross brace almost looks like it would act as a spring. Take a look sometime. Even the one in the pic above looks that way to some extent. Are they engineered to act that way because the structure of them looks like they would give in the middle and then expand back out--espeically...
You got it Rocket. Hater's Forum... That cracks me up. :rolaugh: It might fly on Viper Alley, but probably not here. :lmao:
The "hater's Forum" could be disguised and called the "Do this to the Gen V and I will like it" forum.
Yes, that is correct. I could be wrong and I don't want this to start some kind of argument, but I do believe that some proclaimed the 70 GSX king of the 1/4 mile in its era. Everyone had opinions on this, but I have read more than once that this was true and I remember because I was...
Torque, baby, torque... That's why the old Buick GSX's of the late 60's and early 70's beat the crap out of most cars (if not all stock cars) in the 1/4 mile. Torque!
I will take a different slant on this...
The complainers will help make the car better in the future with their criticism. It gives open-minded designers much needed input. Sort of like I would rather have someone who works for me tell me what they think instead of being a "Yes Man."...
Nice. I like both. I think Austin invented a new shade!!!
The best yellow I ever saw was on my 1988 Chrysler Conquest Tsi. That was the most perfect yellow--not too dark like a school bus yellow, and not too light like some of the 60's yellows. I wish I still had the car.
I do not turn my head when changing lanes. I have my mirrors set so I do not have any blind spots. I look in all three mirrors and I know what is around me. Learned in a driving school... Instructor said never turn your head backwards because it is what is in front of you that you need to be...
Should there also be special treatment for Viper Alley people? :dunno:
How about if I add up all the Chrysler products my family has bought over the years, should that put me at the top of the list? :D
I don't understand why some VCA members feel they are entitled to things??? :dunno: I...
I would just love to see SRT come out with a turbo or supercharged version. I mean that's how Mustang and ZR1 get those big numbers. Supercharge a Viper motor that is already 640hp and see what you get (800hp?).
All it would have to be is a special edition Viper and not all Vipers (just...
I made a similar decision when I bought my Gen 3. And, if I wanted I could easily trade my Gen 3 for a 650hp Mustang, but I won't. I would rather trade my Viper for a new 392 Challenger and mod the crap out of the Challenger than have the Mustang.
