Loos great, Rocket. I should have bought your Street Serpent. With the money I have in my supercharged AFR 'Cuda I would have had it covered. I wonder how many are out there?
Hi Twister. Yea, I think you are too loyal and can't see clearly. :D Just kidding. But really, it is just missing something... It just seems too bland for an exotic car to me. I guess after the Gen IV ACR it looks like a step back in the "Wow" effect.
The performance is fine IMO. Could I afford one = yes. Will I buy one = no. Why = the looks just do not jump out "exotic" to me. It looks dated, again, to me. The front is not very attractive, again, to me. However, I think there are more "to me's" out there than just me and I think that...
Someday you too will be old and will not be cool anymore. Just think of it... Today is the "youngest" and "coolest" you will ever be and soon you will have young pricks like yourself calling you old and you won't like it because in your mind you will still be the same person... And don't say...
Started with a red 1994 R/T 10, then a silver 1998 GTS, then a yellow 2001 R/T 10, and finally a silver 2003 SRT-10... I sold the last viper and now own a supercharged 2012 Challenger SRT-8 converted into a AFR (Autoform) 'Cuda tribute.
I never found a Viper that kept my interest away from...
That's great for those who have them. If that is the case I won't be buying one, and that's fine...
As soon as I buy one the prices will tank. It has happened to me with every Gen car 1-3. I seem to buy them right before they fall in value. It won't happen again. I'll wait until they...
Yep, that's my take along with all the bad press. SRT wanted new owners and the bad press is hurting that while the lack of user-friendliness is keeping a lot of past Viper owners away. As someone pointed out earlier, the Gen IV is still not user-friendly from a mod standpoint even now. So...
I respectfully disagree. The C7 has a very exotic look in person and is in no way hideous IMO. I've never been a Vette fan, but I am now. I hate Vettes except this one. Also, there is a lot more to the C7 than speed. That's a lot of car for the price as many have said. Not taking away...
Yes, I thought so too... I like the black, but not as much. I'm actually not a fan of stripes on Vipers not because they don't look good, but because every Mustang on the road has the same stripes.
Thanks, John. I'm steeping back a little bit so as to not make any rash decisions. The Challenger SRT-8 to AFR 'Cuda turned out great! Steve at Autoform is a master at what he does and my 'Cuda looks OEM. My brother wants to buy it and since he lives in the same town I will still be able to...
Thanks, Steve. The asking price is $69,995... I hate it when the dealer starts so high that even when you get them down $5,000 the deal is still not that good.
Yes, Georgethedog may be back... Good or bad depending on your point of view...
Anyway, please forgive me for asking this, but I have been out of the Viper world for a couple years now and have lost touch with values.
I am looking at a 2008 Viper SRT-10 convertible that has been...
OK... Well done! Next goal for you: Go on Modern Mopar forum and get banned. Good luck. That place makes Viper Alley look like a Kindergarten class. Have fun!
Hate the hood... Looks like it needs to be painted and they could not afford it. The wing is just not the right scale or shape for that car IMO... Just looks to big and bulky on the sleek sexy lines of the Gen V.
Gee, I am sorry I started this thread... I really did not mean for it to get personal. I just thought it was interesting that a dealer in Roanoke Motors backyard is selling one around invoice.
