Looking at the spec the front looks ok. Rear has way to much toe in.They have it set at 0.41 total. I would go for .05 per side or 0.10 total toe in. I would also want to see the adjustment cams on the rear control arms. Is the rear caster off? Rear caster is measured with the DRB 3 and...
Well Yellow and Red are really fighting for second fastest behind Blue/white.:drive: Which anyone with any sense knows is the fastest of all Vipers:2tu:
Might try McCann Racing in Canton Ohio. I think the had one or two at one time. John Archer at Archer racing in Duluth MN should be able to tell you where one would be as well.
Do you really want to go there?:nono: So I was off by one year.
I'll remember this the next time you call and want something from me:rolaugh:
Do you know how to get into your trunk when you look your keys in it the next time:eater:
Not to question but it sure looks like a Gen 2 pan. The oil pickup is cast into the pan.Where on a Gen 1 it used a pickup tube. And the gen 1 pan was the same depth front to rear where this pan has a lower sump in it. Still not sure if it is the 96-00 or the deeper 01-02 pan.
They are not hard to do. Remove the shocks and use a spring compression tool to remove the old springs and swap on the new ones.. Just remember to torque the shock bolts with the weight of the car on the suspension. Then a good alignment. Can do it with my eyes closed.
Before the ins gets to carried away as said earlier I would get in touch with Jon at Parts Rack if you have not used him before now would be a great time to start. Also get in touch with Dan Cragin at DC Performance he could help point you in the right direction as well.
A clean used hood can be...
How many miles are on the car? Were the plugs just black or did they have a large build up of carbon maybe to the point of closing up the gap? Does the car use oil? Have seen in the past where the valve seals were left off of the cylinder heads and over time would cause the plugs to build up a...
If you locked them in the trunk I could help you out. But cant help you get into the car. You can try unhooking the battery and then hooking it back up and see if you can open the door then. Not sure if it will reset the alarm module but worth a try since you can get to the battery
The engines are the same between the car and truck. The cast iron block engines were the ones used in the 2500 3500 series from 94-around 2000.and they were 8.0 liter engines not 8.3
The oil pan is different in the truck but all else in the same.
I meet one of the investors of this track a few years ago at a electric car event my local high school competes at. I asked him then it they were going to hold open track days glad to here they are. It will be nice to have another track a little closer to home.
I ran into this at the track once. Race car on track everything is fine. goes to shift the car steps on the clutch changes gears and lets up on the pedal and nothing. Thinking he missed a gear goes to press the clutch again and the pedal is rock hard. The car would still roll if he put it in...
What they are looking for is a device that hooks up to the knuckles and ties into the DRB3 scan tool.It reads caster on the front and rear wheels. It gives a much better reading than a alignment rack will.If the tech does not know what they are doing they can get the rear caster off by turning...
