    You said threw a rod. Did it knock a hole in the block or just spin a bearing and start knocking?If it knocked a hole in the block then they cant confirm how much oil was in the engine at time of failure. If it just spun a bearing then thats different.

    Check out this torque wrench!

    Not sure what hes doing in that picture. That wrench is to large for anything in the intake area. Also do you really want to use a $25 torque wrench on your $50,000.00 car? But then I have 7 torque wrenches in my tool box that go from 20in/lbs to 600 ft/lbs.

    I would check the torque on the hub nut. This is something we do on a regular basis on the viper racecars. It should torque to 325ft/lbs. You can also do this on the front hubs as well.     I think the main problem is the parking brake cable. It is positioned is such a way that it pushes the caliper into the rotor. As the caliper is fullfloating just a little bit of pressure will keep the inboard pad touching the rotor.Its not so much a caliper sitcking as it is a mispositioned cable.

    It is a secret because we dont want just anybody knowing how to open the hatch on a gen3/4 car. Verts no big deal but on a coupe you can get inside the car.

    It used to be a RT/10 had to have a factory hard top or a autoform hard top to run. Unless it had a roll bar. The three piece top were not allowed to run unless they had a roll bar as well.
