Awesome! I've always felt that the bond between Viper and owner isn't complete until a hands on build is undertaken. All that planning, work, sweat, blood and swearing will only bring you closer to your Viper. That's going to be a beast! Congrats!
Remember, this GenV is targeting a new breed of Viper owner so if you're not into the fluffy tech pieces then these reviews are not going to help. I'm still holding back judgement on the GenV until I see it being built at CAAP this week. :D
Don't know if it's the cheapest place but reliable, check http://ViperPartsOfAmerica.com I saw a clutch kit on there and flywheels. If they don't have it listed, just call them to get pricing information.
Thanks Steve and a big thank you for MC'g the evening festivities. Some big shoes to fill are left behind but I'm not worried about it as I am not alone. Chuck, Ed and Mike rounds out Team Yellow. :D We will all be working hard for the club! :headbang:
Let's not forget Jimmy! Jimmy was...
A great big thank you to everyone who came out to the party last night!! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and had a blast. I certainly did. :D Big thanks to Juliana for stepping up to the plate and winning the SRT Chair auction. Her bidding was a force to be reckoned with! She looks innocent...
I know that, in life, we all have more important things to worry about other than when our VCA membership expires. So when it suddenly expires it becomes a problem. We feel as if we were disrespected though that's not the intent. I've been in the VCA since 2005 and I've grown accustomed to the...
The software may seem cold to those that have seen their membership expire on 12/31 and suddenly see their title change to "Enthusiast" and all of the restrictions that comes with it. It's certainly not someone getting excited manually changing titles to "Enthusiast" to fulfill some twisted...
So long as you don't own a Viper, your regional club (or any regional club for that matter) can you sign you up as an associate member. This would allow you to contribute to your local club, attend their events and receive some benefit from them locally. However, associate members don't receive...
Just a few days away from a great party! We have many raffles items for the party but the crown jewel is the SRT10 Custom Office Chair from VPA. :headbang:
:headbang:
This is a genuine brand new Dodge Viper SRT10 seat that has been carefully modified into a beautiful rolling office chair...
I've had the speed bleeders on my Viper since 2006 and they've been great. Makes for an easy 1 person brake fluid change unless one has the MityVac setup ala Dave6666.
Or....check and adjust your stock Koni's. All 4 of my shocks were set differently from the factory. I ended up adjusting them 2.5 turns (half turns) each per Tator and made the ride much, much better.
Maybe I'm still recovering from last night and my head may still be a bit fuzzy but for some reason the engine bracket in this picture doesn't seem right to me as if it's oriented upside down. Double check the orientation of your brackets. Like Dave, one of my turnouts was close, within an 1"...
On behalf of your club officers Tony, Tator, Ed and Mike we wish NY/CT a happy and prosperous new year! :headbang: Hopefully everyone had an enjoyable and safe New Year's Eve. :2tu:
Update: Keep the RSVP's coming and make certain to send in payment (per instructions below) in order to confirm your attendance. One of our dealer attendees promises to have his 2013 Dodge Viper at the party should the dealer model arrive at his dealership in time for the party. We'll keep you...
