What do you guys think of this brembo kit vs srt10 breaks

Very few Viper owners can take their OEM brakes to the limits especially on the street. The SRT BBK is not bling any means. Seems like a great fit for the OP. If you can swing for the $$$ for a StopTech or Brembo kit then go for it.

    Does anyone know this bumblebee?

Nick, someone local was looking for a red vert a few weeks back. I sent them your way. He's from CT. Let me know if he contacted you because I can pay him a visit if need be. :D GET THE BUMBLE BEE. JUST DO IT! :D

    The Perfect Storm Part 2

Thanks Jim. In CT, the damage is just awful all along the shoreline. Inland not so much. My town was spared. I am worried about NY,NJ,PA,WV,etc as they were hit hard. It's unbelievable, for me, that the NYC subway is flooded and all 10 east side tunnles are flooded. Incredible. I really feel for...

SRT Viper Goes Italian with Abarth Venom: 2012 SEMA Show

"Though it’s nothing extreme, the SRT Viper is truly track inspired, with its rear seat deleted and a cargo net installed along with a custom sport bar." Nothing extreme? Rear seat deleted?

Lighter not working, fuse is OK ... change out the lighter base? ---

Mine was disconnected. I wonder if, perhaps, the contacts for the wire connectors have become oxidized?

Lighter not working, fuse is OK ... change out the lighter base? ---

Dumb question as you may have already checked for this but....are you certain that both wires are connected to the base of the lighter? My black wire came loose when I removed the console cover and I didn't notice it until the lighter didn't work anymore.

For you guys with Vinyl stripes?

I installed vinyl stripes myself 4 year ago. I used Avery 3mil. I purchased a roll of it, still have it and much cheaper than buying some of the "kits" out there. It is not an easy installation working with vinyl. You'll need to contour the vinyl to fit the curves of the viper, namely the rear...

    '01 GTS O2 Wideband advice

In this thread, http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/654520-Data-Logging-LTFT-Interpretation?highlight=tuning, is a screen shot of the data logger software, ScanXL from Palmer. ScanXL has built-in support for the Innovate Wideband but I don't see NGK in the list of options/settings. The Innovate...

Hit One Show Before The End Of The Season

Polish your valve cover letters and ribs on top of the intake to make them pop. Consider painting your Sneaky Pete logo on your hood pad. With the hood up and painted logo, it can be seen from afar and folks will be drawn to your Viper. Painting the hood pad is inexpensive and something you can...

Bob, long shot here but by chance are both doors fully closed? I'm wonder if perhaps the passenger door isn't fully closed causing the lights to stay on? :dunno:

    '01 GTS O2 Wideband advice

I've had the LC-1 installed on my Viper since 2008, no issues with it. No idea if it's dead-on-balls accurate or slightly off. Works well with ScanXL. http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/654520-Data-Logging-LTFT-Interpretation?highlight=tuning

    Who got snow?

Yes, was at Costco today and the mob was in full force both at the pumps and at Costco. Of course the local news stations are playing up this storm as "Franenstorm". Generator sales are strong this week it seems. Not sure what's worse....the storm or the mobs of folks walking amuk in...

    BUSTED

CT does the same. Pay 6.35% sales tax on purchase. Then the local town/city assesses a property tax on the Viper at 70% value which is usually determined by the local tax authority based on their mill rate.

    what exhaust is this

That is different than the OEM flex joint which is located in the bend. If I had to guess, and I am, I'd say this type of flexible joint was put there to mate the turnout to the rest of exhaust which is not level with the turnout. You can see that the joint is sloping downwards to make the...

    BUSTED

Fortunately Jon, when I got caught speeding in NY, like you, I hired an attorney to deal with it. And I never had to get in front of a judge or pay the assessment. I heard horror stories like you describe with the judge basically doing what they feel is the better penalty. My ticket was a 98/55...

    what exhaust is this

No idea why there would be a flex joint in that location. I think the Roe side exhaust/cat is a great sounding combination but it will be loud.
