    Bob - I run a gen4 tranny too... Since you don't care about a speed sensor, it is a direct bolt-in for the tranny and a swap on the u-joint on the driveshaft. Easy as pie. Gen a gen4 if you can and I'll show you how to do the swap on the u-joint. Easy as pie! JD

    In the early days of viper turbo set-ups, the problem wasn't that the rods would break (as they are plenty strong). The problem was that the 'shock' to the system would cause the crank to walk on the mains. That was a bigger problem. The ROE hitting so hard it breaks the rods... I don't buy...

    I had one (subsequently modified and removed) and will be happy to share my experiences privately. Search the Alley for more info as well. His original welder was quite good, but he doesn't make the kits for CPE anymore, so unless there is a new fabricator, these may be smithsonian pieces...

    Since you already have one, better to stick with it. But also best to find someone that can help you tune on it. In the hands of someone that knows what they are doing, it is an incredibly powerful tool.

    As crazy as it sounds for new injectors, get them flowed/cleaned. I've seen many a new injector not flow properly. At 5psi you can manage this. At 15... it is a different story. I've seen it all too many times. Good luck! Seems like a very cool project. I hope you can get the gremlins out...
