Gen 4's have a weak piston and can often fail from detonation. On our street performance engines with the .028 headgasket, compression was raised to
10.1, but 94 octane gas was required.
I have 2 Gen 1's in the shop with bad SBEC engine controllers we cannot fix.
Does anybody out there have an extra for sale?
I have to be able to build new SBEC's in the near future.

You do not need to cut a hole in the truck. The Evap pump and lines can be accessed from under the car. Typically the lines are cracked either at the pump
or at the hose that vents the filler neck.
I was able to get Redtanrt to pass emissions with the stock computer and Belanger system, but the same car with a different owner cant get it too pass now as the cats
just are not working good enough. If you go through the proper drive cyle several times and the Cat monitor wont pass, odds are...
I typically cannot get the Gen 4's to pass the catalyst monitor with the Belanger setup. If I change the location of the upstream O2 to the collector
and put a CARB approved catalyst in the system, I can get it to pass.
I like to use the factory secondary cats as they flow well and work good...
I have not heard from Roy or Joe at TNT for numerous years. They had a TNT 555 kit that included ported heads, 1.7 rockers, Comp Cam, Long tube headers and high flow
cats and a fresh air intake system. A 3.55 gear and light flywheel were often added as well.
The issue with reusing these bolts is that they stretch and hit the rear main cap on the crankshaft and put metal in the oil.
I've seen it numerous times. That's why they are 1 use only.
Check your fuel pressure. Drive it with a gauge attached and see if the pressure drops when it looses power. I typically just tape the gauge to the windshield.
I have a very nice high mileage RT/10 1999 with hard top. One owner, serviced by me since new. Has new tires, clutch and major service. Runs great.

My good client Warwick Rose passed away recently and his sons asked me to sell his 1999 RT/10.
Its a one owner car with 102,000 miles, serviced by me since new. He sent about 30k on it over the years in service and some upgrades. It has a brand new clutch and full service, tires and brakes done...
The lighter the lighter the clutch and flywheel, the better the shift at higher rpm. There are several setups out there that shave off 17-25 pounds, that's about as light as you want to g on a street setup in my opinion.
Spec makes me a dual disc setup, organic, sprung hubs with an aluminum...
