I guess i'm one of the few who think it's actually pretty hard to get the back end out from my SRT. I'm sure the stock gearing has something to do with it but those 345's sure do the trick! Much more difficult to lose than my 400 rwhp vette.
Also i know my Viper doesn't have traction...
Manny,
I'm in the mortgage business here in San Diego so weekdays are very tough for me. Otherwise i'd be all over it!!
Maybe we can meet up one day so i can check out your DLM ride. I'm thinking about a Paxton for my SRT. I know theres one other SD guy that has his SRT with a paxton (is...
I'll be heading up to Big Willow on the 29th with Speedventures. I remember a post (can't find it) about an issue with the oil pan and possibly blowing your motor? Should i not track my SRT for the day?
Thanks in advance,
Frank
It's a 6 spd. Comfortable to use as a daily driver in my opinion. They say the Gallardo is much more reliable than previous lambo's. I guess we'll see heh
I agree with you about the 360, my buddy also has a E55 and it walked the 360 by 4 car lengths on the freeway.
I think you buy a Ferrari...
I could not pull from my buddy's gallardo. His is stock and mine has intake and exhaust. I was shocked at i thought i would pull because i have more tq and he has the extra weight of the AWD.
The gearing in the Gallardo i think is 3.08's compared to the SRT10 3.07 so thats a close match up.
I have the Borla system and really like it. I haven't heard many aftermarket SRT systems but i do love mine :) It was around $800 and Jon B at partsrack got it drop shipped to my installer.
It's amazing how there is absolutely no heat in the side sills anymore.
I wish i had as much fun as you guys are spinning the wheels. All i get is wheel hop. I bought all this HP and can't use it without spending thousands on aftermarket suspension etc. and thats not even a sure thing.
I had so much more fun with my Vette that only had 400 rwhp, but atleast i can...
Doesn't seem to be a hot topic but i'm hearing this is a great mod even with keeping the stock cam?
Anybody have any specs on what type of rwhp/rwtq and drivability this will have? Don't want to have any idling issues.
Or should i just go Paxton?
I heard to do stage III heads it's about...
This wheel hop has really become an issue for me. It's great having all this torque but it's not fun looking or feeling like an idiot when you try to have some fun.
I hope i don't have to spend thousands on my end for the factory mistake.
