    I would do this too, safety should be top priority in such an install and you want to make sure that it is installed and secured properly. Manny, also keep in mind the tremors in CA, with a car hoisted a little shake would cause significant stress on the foundation.

    Is this normal?

    Lots of things rust in the east and high moisure area, it could be a normal for that part. When you replace the bolts make sure you get bolts that are coated that will prevent rusting. Not sure what it called but I am sure someone will point that out.

    Headliner falling off

    DC doesn't use strong glues to stick these liners and panels and eventually they will separate in S.Cal heat. Same happen to my Jeep. Have it redone by an interior shop with proper glue. Nice Avatar Superbar!

    Hitting it diagonal would be the best way to handle but to the unsuspecting driver it would be too late by the time you see it at 70MPH. GTS Dean, I have noticed this dip for the past one year, it occurs just after the concrete bridge and it is definitely the subgrade.
