HELP, Viper won't start!!
Re: HELP, Viper won\'t start!! Lefty, Battery definitely needs to be changed especially if it is that old. Save yourself all the trouble shooting headaches and change the battery first. It should start on the first try after that. If for any reason it doesn't, than you can start diagnosing...- picflight

HELP, Viper won't start!!
Re: HELP, Viper won\'t start!! Battery is dead. There might be enough juice to turn the lights and horn but not enough amps for the starter. How old is the battery? Replace it and it should be fine. Jumping might not start it unless you use a high amp source.- picflight

Congratulations..Nice car. I too am a former Vette owner moving to Viper. Nasty, how did you drive the C5 over speed bumps? Glenn, Thanks for the advice and heads up. I think Dan is in Marina Del Rey, from what I gathered reading the posts here. My way of buying a pre-owned machine is that I have to see it in person first..haven't made an unseen purchase yet. I wounldn't mind flying to NE to pick mine up and drive it...- picflight

Smell Antifreeze
I would suggest replacing the thermostat and gaskets first if they haven't been replaced yet. It shouldn't be that expensive especially if you can tackle this yourself. Not many tools are need to do this. A replacement thermostat would be peace of mind if it is 8 years old. Once replaced you...- picflight

HELP!!! Dead batt! Stranded!! mayday mayday!
IMO It's the battery, jumping won't start it unless you are using a heavy duty source. If it does start by jumping you might have idling problems.- picflight

need some A/C advice from the experts for a 94 viper
Go with 95 with AC. Depending on where you live, you might not need the AC, but if you do, you have it. A top is easy to add on as compared to an AC. Good luck.- picflight
