    Speaker question for srt owners

    I don't remember any ac vents when I had my car apart putting in the rollbar...sorry, brain cells going. Anyway, it is very easy to take the panel off and check, just move the seat up and find the screws. Only take a few minutes. You never know what you might find. dave

    Burned up SRT/10!

    Yep, those are the seat frames. There are 4 large brackets that should hold the hoops. Those are a bitch to take off when installing your rollbar. The hoops are aluminum and may have melted in the fire or they snapped off on impact. 'my dad has an awesome set of tools....I can fix it'.

    ANNOYING SEAT BELT INDICATOR CHIME!

    I performed the procedure that is in the owners manual. Works fine, no chime since. The buckle seat belt light stays on but that isn't a big deal.

    I do not think the bar add a large amount of weight. I could pick the bars up and lift them over the side of the car to place them in I'm guessing around 40-50lbs but you take out about 30lbs of other hardware. Very solid when installed and not a huge deal, just a bit of slow methodical work...

    Mamba for sale - Springfield,MO

    Central Dodge in Springfield,MO has a Mamba for sale @ 87,...K. I cannot vouch for their service or sales (I don't go there), just that it is there if someone is hot after one. I asked if the cam bolt recall had been performed and got a blank stare. The car did look great.

    Has anyone had trouble getting the lap belt bolt screwed in far enough so that it doesn't stop the seat from going all the way back? I'm having trouble getting enough torque on the bolt. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dave

    Re: Anyone have pre- and post- I got mine done last week. Driving home I notice that when I grabbed second the car seemed scream with more authority. I hope to do more 'testing' today! On the check ball, did yours come out ok or did they have to tear down the car? dave
