Announcing the Viper Parts Initiative!
This is a comprehensive multi-year Viper Nation initiative with the goal to put discontinued Viper parts from all generations back into production. The speed and success of the program will be determined by the participation of the community's Viper owners, enthusiasts, vendors, service providers, and clubs. We have the enthusiastic support of Stellantis, and we now ask for everyone else's help! These parts will be produced by community parts vendors and suppliers, not Stellantis.
We are looking for parts producers within the Viper community to become Stellantis-Mopar licensees for discontinued Viper parts. A meeting will be set up to discuss the licensing process and opportunities, and to answer any questions. Please contact me at [email protected] to join this exciting Viper community initiative!
Special thanks to Matt McAlear, Dodge CEO, for his support of Viper Nation!
We thank the VCA forums for hosting the Viper Parts Initiative in this dedicated Viper Parts & Service Resources section. You'll see several sub-forums where we'll collect the information to identify specific parts needed, prospective suppliers to produce them, vendors to sell them, and the assistance that can be offered to make the production of these parts financially feasible.
I'll be in regular contact with the team at Stellantis, and with the assistance of dedicated community volunteers.
Please review and contribute submissions to the subforums for Vendor and Service Provider Directories, Discontinued Parts To Produce, and Cross-referenced Viper Parts. Each contain information needed to help identify those parts that are not available elsewhere, and those who may be most interested in producing and selling new parts brought to market.
Many of us have probably previously sold special interest cars due to the lack of support from their manufacturers, and I could name quite a few! Huge thanks to Dodge and Stellantis for offering to support this community initiative.
This is a grass roots community effort, and it will be successful! Thank you all in advance for supporting and promoting the Viper Parts Initiative.
Sincerely,
Bruce Hadfield
