    Key Fob

    I picked up a new FOB today and programed the old and new FOBs using the instructions above. Worked like a charm. Only hard part was getting my big a$$ down under the drivers side dash. The new fob is smaller and sleeker than the old (97) one, looks a little more up to date.

    Computer reset question

    OK I am looking for the easy way out... Will disconnecting the wire red wire at the "Jump Start" post reset the computer or do I have to remove the rear wheel and do it at the battery?

    Key Fob

    I have the same problem, one works one does not. I tried a new battery then holding both buttons down, still no dice. I have a new FOB coming Monday and will try to program it per the instructions above. Jeff, thanks for posting them.

    Red Wax any good?

    I just purchased some of this stuff for the same reason. It came with a "lipstick" looking dispenser to fill in the heavy scratches. I will try it out on Monday and let you know how it does. Steve

    I picked up my “new” 97 Red GTS last Friday. Even though it only has 5400 miles on it and it seems to be perfect (other than the high/hanging idle that seems to plague the random snake) I am thinking about having some preventive maintenance done. Nothing big, just belts, hoses, fluids etc...

    Great tips. I will be making a list from this thread and go over the car the best I can. I will be able to bring the car home for the day so I should be able to check on the overheating issue. Maybe tomorrow it will stop raining and I can finally take a look.
