I guess I could be persuaded to sell just my blower since I'd like to go with a 4.2 on a custom build. Not sure what good price point would be...around $1500.00 I suppose seeing a new 2.8 is 2300 or so and I have some upgraded bearings, etc.. Just an option.
I've chatted with this Company and they seem willing to entertain many options to include taking in a basket case, evaluating its worth, and potentially offering some salvage cash. They may also have some units on the shelf for exchange as well...https://www.jonbondperformance.com/ Now there...
So what is not serviceable about the blower? I just put hybrid ceramic bearings and upgraded seals in my 2.8H without any drama for around $300 in parts. I'm sure I could do the same on the 2.4 as well as long as it isn't a solid mass of melted aluminum. These blowers are pretty forgiving as...
Too funny discussing bragging rights. Not too many years ago....it used to be all about the factory stereo systems (Ha) and not so much on performance. At least current discussions are back on performance attributes. Well...you still see wayyy tooooo muuuuuch emphasis on electronics and...
Its actually quite interesting when you vacuum the system since whatever moisture that is in the system actually starts to boil (crackle/snap) as you pull more and more vacuum. My rule of thumb when evacuating an AC system is that when you get to the snap-crackle-pop stage during the evacuation...
Bring back the Demon with a Hellcat driveline and OMFG...Not liking the Charger (sic) design at all. Never really did. Challenger is a home run. Charger...an epic design fail.
At first I sort of laughed when he stated it was going to be a daily driver until I noticed he was from Texas....as a Minnesota native, I didn't think that plan would work. regardless, I bet the return trip will indeed be a trip of a lifetime. Roadtrips in a Viper are priceless. Lucky bastard.
Personally, I think WANTED was spot on with his 'comments.' Just think how the BS would be flowing if some poor sap came on here all amp'ed up stating he just picked up a GEN V for MSRP. We'd be all over him/her espousing what an idiot they were. Door swings both ways.
I just replaced mine with the aforementioned $230 Delphi replacement from Rock Auto. Great price for a brand spanking new unit. You should get the system evacuated/coolant recovered before swapping the unit out, but that is more for environmental reasons. I just vented mine to the atmosphere...
MSRP is ~86K. For a 105 mile beauty in 2014...I imagine in the +$60k range...maybe even more all things considered. One can never tell. It just depends on so many intangible things with these cars/owners/sellers. I do not think you should believe it will be in the $50's. If it is, I'd grab it.
Well...I have all my stock engine intake parts on the shelf from when I did my ROE...intake, injectors, TBs, MAP, linkages, fuel line, blah blah blah. Never really think much about them but I have it all. Stuff is always up for trade-barter-ass/gas/grass....
I hear ya. Dodge should give us $$$ for driving the darned things since it is a rolling billboard for their brand. I met my wife at the mall (shopping at Dillards for shoes...OH GOD SHOOT ME). She had parked next to me and as we were starting our cars, several young guys approached me to take...
Interestign thread. Let's see....July 2005 I bought my 01 GTS from an "exotics" dealer north of Miami for $56K. Straight cash deal...no trade. Car was a one owner (Ohio car) with 7700 miles. So at that time, a 4 yrs old car with 7700 miles and a window sticker of 86K (which I have) sold for...
For those that know me. I don't needlessly waste time on these boards. Too busy. I just prefer to deal with facts and more than able to assist most with about ANY GEN-II problem. Chill'in isn't a problem. But I get your comment after re-reading my post from last night.LOL. Bee happy. No...
